Popped! Republic began as a team and a dream in 2012 when Eric and his wife decided to follow their hearts and begin a popcorn truck in D.C. They were popcorn lovers and fans of D.C.’s thriving food truck scene and imagined a world where there was a combination of both. Then Popped! Republic's food truck made its way down the 14th Street Bridge in Washington, D.C. to its first retail store in Alexandria.  To make things confusing for everyone, we were known as America's Favorite Gourmet Popcorn from 2020 to 2023, but we switched back to Popped! Republic in 2024.  

Today, our popcorn can be found in our Baltimore production facility at 2601 Georgetown Rd, on-line, and at area gift shops and hotels.   We continue to offer the traditional flavors gourmet popcorn lovers crave, as well as unique flavors like Chesapeake Style Popcorn and Route 66 Ranch Popcorn. Our Maryland Mix is our most popular blend, which features our Classic Caramel Popcorn with our Cheezy Cheddar Popcorn.

Our goal will always be clear – provide quality gourmet popcorn that is easily accessible, so our fans can get some of the freshest gourmet popcorn whenever they want it. We want to provide the highest quality popcorn, and we back every bite - down to the last kernel (no really, we work hard to make sure you do not get any kernels!)
